CAINE Trindall has been named winner of the AAMI Country Rugby League junior player of the week.
After scoring 30 tries this for Kiama Knights U12.1 team, Caine receives $250 and was quick to decide what he will spend the money on.
I will definitely buy myself a Souths jersey from the charity shield and a few new footballs, he added.
The Kiama club could also see a boost to their equipment stocks and now have a chance to win a $2,000 grant, which Caines mother Linda was delighted to hear.
Caine would like to thank Paul Emerson and Paul Atkins for coaching him and Meggs for managing the team throughout the season.
All junior Knights are reminded that the Presentation Day is on this Saturday September 9 at the Kiama Leagues Club Auditorium, with the U6s-U10s starting at 9.30am, and the U11s-U16s starting at 11.00am.
