KIAMA Junior Rugby Club's under 10s played Shamrocks on Sunday in a competitive game that went right to the wire.

Jhy McFarlane, Lachlan Farrell and Elijah Crowe were strong in the middle of the rucks and malls while Beau Doosey and Sam Bridger displayed theirs skills with some exciting running.

The defence of Dane Edwards, Joel Wheatley and Guy Walker was outstanding while Kain Dorahy was a threat to Shamrocks every time he ran the ball.

Dean Wishart and Jack Smith were tireless in attack and defence while Jai Field again displayed the blistering speed that has made him a standout in the competition.

With the scores locked for most of the game Shamrocks snuck home in the end 22-15.

The under 11s had a great 30-5 win against Wollondilly.

Abel Wilson, Curtis Patton, Jack North, Adam Priest (1 try), Rohan Cook (1 try) and Matthew Panecasio ran strongly with great support from Jake East, Liam Ragen (1 try), Will Panayi (2 tries), Ryley Edwards, Alex Russell, Luke Asquith (1 try), Jack Schneider, Ryan Sorrell and Ayden Skorulis.

The under 14s stuck it to the well-fancied Camden side only to be denied at the finish by a late try. While going down 19-10 it was another strong display from the team who just don't seem to get the lucky break at the end of games.

Tries to Brad Lisle and Tom Mackay were backed up by strong performances from the whole team.

Lewis Mitchell and Paul Asquith led from the front while Jack Bateman, Aaron Grigg, George Jamieson, John Vinson and Bill King stood up to the bigger Camden team all day.

Jack Alexander, Joel Doosey, Billy Wilson, Joseph Mungovan, Harley Ryan, Simon Vinson, and Ben Wade threatened Camden in a very committed effort.

The under 16s eventually wore down Vikings in a torrid game, running out winners 29-7.

Jeshua Smith was a constant danger running with the ball backed up by Jordan Mitchell (1 try), Adam Skorulis, Nick Quinn, and Sam Vinson.

James Siggee, Pat Morton, Mitch Clarke and Kahn Watts played strongly along with with Aaron Vann, Ethan McIntosh, Michael Brunt, Jobe Wilson and Chris Sinclair.

James O'Keefe, Ethan Ford (1 try), Mark Asquith, Tom Ormsby (1 try), David Brodie, James Asquith, Matt Gladman (1 try), and Nathan Trindall (1 try) always looking likely to create something when the passes stuck.
