JAMBEROO Junior Rugby League Club's under 11s hosted Warilla and scored a 28-12 victory.

Man of the match Ayden Skorulis relished his move to the forwards with a power house display while Jack Wright's move to the backline saw him finish with three tries.

Liam Regon fed the forwards who ran straight and hard, while looking for Luke Asquith to sort some magic out in the backs.

It was mate against mate in the first game of the day when Jamberoo's under 8s sides faced off.

Both sides were on top at different stages of what was a spirited contest before a joint presentation and barbeque. After all the excitement we forgot to mention who won, it may well have been a draw.

There were tries a plenty when the under 13 Superoos faced Cougars, who won 36-20.

Jamberoo started well with Bam Bam Barnard and rookie Jack Wright racing over for tries, however some long range breaks allowed the Cougars to grab a 20-8 halftime lead.

The second half was an end-to-end affair with Jack Doolan, Jarl Walker and Slippery Soper scoring tries.

The under 15s' bubble burst with a disappointing 26-10 win over Helensburgh.

Men of the match Mitchell North and Chris Turton kept Jamberoo in the contest, with Mitch chasing everything that moved while Chris carried the ball forward all day and made plenty of yards.
