Stingrays run into a little bit of bother …

A DASH to Toyworld, a lightning strike, power outage and heavy rain made it a trying afternoon of touch at Kiama Stingrays. A lightning bolt hit one of the light towers at the field and it blew out the power circuits.
This meant there was no hot food, flat touch balls and no hooter – but after running to Toyworld and purchasing a hooter in a can we continued on with the action.
This week’s age group was to be the 7-9 boys but due to Monday’s chaos we only had one team manager write a comment.
