A HAT-TRICK to Louis Parsons-O'Malley in the under 9s was the highlight of Kiama Junior Soccer Club action on the weekend.
Under 6 Orange: the team enjoyed themselves on Saturday with plenty of effort from all players.
Tamara Weston was determined, making many tackles while Aidan Hedges showed lots of nous and was ready to receive the ball.
Defensive dynamo Jack Morris also showed his attacking style on a number of occasions.
Tom Brennan made some great kicks and great runs while Gemma Warren showed innovative skills in the middle of the field.
Jennifer Klepczarek had a superb game in goals as well as displaying skill in out-field tactics.
Nicholas Kofod was strong in the midfield and had a great game in goals while Alex Swan worked hard and showed his skill and speed.
Under 9 White: Kiama took part in a great game against Shellharbour Blue at Shellharbour on Saturday.
In windy conditions the Shellharbour Blue team held off determined attack from Kiama White with strong defence, particularly in goals.
However, Kiama's Louis Parsons-O'Malley showed his style, scoring early in the first half before adding a second late in the half.
Kade Mace, who usually plays defence, had a go in midfield and demonstrated one of his trademark big kicks to score a goal in the first half.
Louis and Kade were supported in attacks at Shellharbour's goal by Nicholas Poelczer, Sam Glazier, Blair Cooney and Jesse Willingham.
In the second half Kiama continued to attack Shellharbour's defence and Harry O'Brien scored two goals while Louis completed his hat-trick.
Shellharbour could not beat the strong defence of Callum Lee, Reid Formosa, James Mann and Kade Mace.
Jack Delaney made some good goal kicks in the first half and showed his tenacity in tackling in the second half.
Congratulations to Kiama and Shellharbour team for the spirit in which they played the match.
Both teams displayed determination during the match as well as a spirit of friendship and having fun.
