LOUCAS Panayi was announced as Kiama Junior Rugby Union Player of the Year at last Fridays annual presentation night.
Loucas has played with Kiama since U11s and in that time has established himself as the most dominant prop in his age group throughout the Illawarra District.
He is held in high esteem by all his team mates for his exceptionally high work rate and is respected by opponents, for his inspirational charges and tireless defence.
Loucas has represented Illawarra Rugby in Country Championships since 2002 as first choice prop and was a member of the Illawarra Academy of Sport this year.
Luke Oborn was also recognised, awarded club person of the year, for his efforts over many years in football and committee roles for Kiama Junior Rugby.
The evening closed a successful season for the Kiama club, with every team contesting the semi-finals.
