Despite big batting efforts last week, Lake Illawarra, Warilla Sports, The Rail and Oak Flats were unable to emerge from Saturday’s round of matches with outright wins, despite securing first innings points.

A second century of the season by Shellharbour’s Pat Moulton kept the pressure on The Rail, who were defending their score of five declared for 305, with Shellharbour eventually being bowled out for 272.
Moulton scored 116 and received solid support from John Puckeridge (33), Matt Phelps (30) and Rob Monaghan (34 not out), with Andrew Warren producing a superb bowling effort to finish with 7-92 off 72 overs.
