SHARKS were spotted at Kendalls Beach on Friday and throughout Kiama during the week.
Just days after a lightning visit by the Bulldogs squad, the Cronulla-Sutherland players spent three nights in Kiama as they stepped up preparations for the upcoming NRL season.
On Friday the squad went through a rigorous training session at Bonaira Reserve before heading to Kendalls Beach for contact work and a swim in some mountainous surf. The sharks arrived on Tuesday afternoon for a barbecue and bonding session at Kiama Inn.
A Wednesday fishing trip planned for the 30 players and eight full-time staff in the Sharks’ contingent was cancelled due to big seas.
Despite wild weather during the week, Sharks coach Ricky Stuart said the camp was a vital part of the team’s pre-season schedule.
