JAMBEROO Women's Bowling Club held their AGM on Wednesday.

Heather Shepherd was elected president, while Gwen Roy and Helen Parker will hold the vice-presidential positions.

Shirley Greenwood was named secretary and Edna Reedy treasurer and publicity officer.

Marj Angus will serve as bowls organiser, Nell Cass as welfare officer and Helen Parker as mini Beige editor.

The club selectors will be Marj Angus, Gwen Tate and Edie Harris.

P. Byrne, Heather Shepherd and Norma Davey will serve as delegates to the South Coast Women's Bowling Association.

Mrs Byrne and Heather Shepherd were named patrons.

Retiring president Helen Parker thanked her 2006 committee while Shirley Greenwood and outgoing treasurer Rose Smith thanked their helpers for their hard work.

In other news, the 2007 singles championship final will be played by Jenette Campbell and Gwen Roy today (Wednesday).

Nominations for the pairs championship should be submitted to Marj Angus or posted on the playing sheet by June 13. Play will start on June 20.
