KIAMAs own Honda Freestyle Motor Cross (FMX) maniac Robbie Maddo Maddison has been selected as the only Australian to compete in the prominent LG action Sports tour in the USA.

The tour brings the all-stars of actions sports from around the world with stops in Amsterdam, England, Paris, Berlin, and the US with Robbie joined by Matt Rebeau from Switzerland as the two non-Americans.

Speaking from his temporary home in the USA, Maddison took time out to reflect on his selection on the tour and the roller coaster ride over the past year.

Its a real honour to be chosen to participate in this tour, he said.

This past year or so has been awesome with the opportunities that are coming my way.

I couldnt be achieving this without the support of my sponsor Honda Australia and my family and friends, he added.

The LG Action Sports World Tour is the only global professional multi-competition series of its kind, featuring the best in skateboarding, BMX, rollerblading and FMX.

Maddo will be up against notorious riders like Nate Adams, Twitch Stenberg, Kenny Bartram, Ronnie Renner, Brian Deegan, Ronnie Faaist, Ox Kargola, Drake Mclearoy, Dan Pastor, Mike Metzger, Adam Jones and Mike Mason.

Having already built a reputation as one of the most talented and threatening riders on the FMX circuit, he has also won the hearts of the Australian public with his demeanour on and off the bike.

Maddison makes his presence felt every time he jumps on his bike and has set two world records with a 221 feet jump on the Crusty Demons 10th anniversary tour, the other leaving the 25,000 strong crowd in awe after jumping 246 feet on board his Honda CR250cc machine.
