LIFE BEGINS AT 80 FOR LADY GOLFERS

LIFE begins at 80 for a proud group of lady golfers of Kiama Golf Club, with a collective membership nearing 100 years.
The group of Mavis Leon, June Park, Alma Callaghan, Glad Miller and Joyce McCarthy are set to be joined by Mrs Dot May (pictured in order) in September.
Mrs May is set to be the first calendar girl to join the group when she appears in a 2007 calendar, the proceeds of which will go towards funding the Childrens Medical Research Institute.
The ladies have a busy schedule and enjoy water aerobics, bridge, gardening, painting, CWA activities and walking.
The ladies are set to take part in the annual Kiama Hospital Charity day on June 21st, at Kiama Golf Club.
The Kiama ladies really do prove that? the more active you are, the younger you will stay,? the better you will feel.
