Ashleigh Unicomb powers to second in the open Iron Person race last weekend at Warilla Beach.

WARILLA-Barrack Point Surf Life Saving club continue to produce some of the best surf lifesaving talent on the South Coast.

33 of their athletes have been selected into the South Coast Branch team, which will compete at Crowdy Head from December 9-10.

Jane Ware (U17) and Ashleigh Unicomb (open womens) both from Kiama have been selected after Ware won the U17 Iron Persons race and Unicomb finished second to Lauren Smith in the opens.

Nick Clifford from Kiama Downs placed third in the U14s boys Ironman.

The MXG Tax Count event was held at Warilla Beach and attracted competitors from Ocean Beach, Queenscliff, Cronulla and Illawarra Branch.

Mark Simpson of Cronulla won the Opens Ironman after placing in the top 10 at the Coolangatta Gold last month.
