ELISE Pascoe is closing her multi award-winning Elise Pascoe International Cooking School at Jamberoo to enjoy a taste of Italy for 12 months.

Mrs Pascoe said she and her husband, John Kelly, would spend a year in Italy, but post monthly e-zines on her EPICS website www.cookingschool.com.au.

This would keep past students and new contacts abreast of Italian news and views along with recipes of dishes discovered.

"Food tastes better in Italy than any other place in the world," Mrs Pascoe said.

She would settle closer to Kiama and launch her new Elise Pascoe Internet Cooking School after returning from Europe.

Mrs Pascoe said her classes, which would continue until the end of June, were at full capacity with waiting lists for the most popular cuisine styles.

"Its success is beyond my wildest dreams," Mrs Pascoe said.

"Over the five years since moving to Jamberoo, I have enjoyed meeting so many wonderful people from all walks of life who share my love of food and the table."
