ALTHOUGH the Holden dealership bearing his name has left town, Glen Fulton has assured residents that the NRMA office he manages is staying in Kiama.

Mr Fulton assured the community that the NRMA would remain in Kiama, offering all services.

"The NRMA will still be here " I'm not going anywhere," Mr Fulton said.

"This is my livelihood and I am keeping it here. I have got seven people working at this office.

"Since it was announced that the car dealership was being merged with Wilson's Holden people have been coming into the branch worried that we were going as well.

"This NRMA office has been in Kiama for 50 years and will stay here."

Mr Fulton said a development application for a three-storey units complex, including two and three-bedroom residential apartments and six retail units, related to his long-term plans for the site.

It was submitted to Kiama Council in June 2005.

"It should be at least five years before anything happens on the Collins Street site," Mr Fulton said.

"The dealership will stay here."
