BLUE Haven resident Edna Fitzgerald celebrated her 102nd birthday last Tuesday (March 17).
The birthday party was attended by family, friends and residents.
Edna received a huge bouquet of flowers from her family. An accordion player and singer, who also celebrated St Patrick’s Day, provided entertainment.
Edna was born in Benalla, Victoria, in 1907.
She met her husband, who was an engineer, in Sydney and the pair moved to the city to raise their four children.
Edna’s daughter, Margaret Chadwick, said her mum moved to Kiama in October 2008 to be closer to her family.
