HAVING played together since the 1999 season, Dean Bugs as hooker and Derek Spud Gray were relaxed at Park training last Thursday.
Renowned joker off the field Spud turns serious when asked what is different from the team who were defeated in the 2005 grand final to Milton.
We didnt start well last year, I think we have learnt from our mistakes and will go one better as we focus on the little things and all the team are close off the field, he said.
Dean was of the belief that regardless of the opponent, Park will be in for a fight.
The game will be tough either way, it will be tough and in your face style of play with a never say die attitude, he commented.
While Spud jokes that Dean throws too many dummies and Dean returns fire saying that he makes so many tackles cleaning up the ones Spud misses.
Come Sunday, there is no doubt the two will turn to their game faces and go one better.
