Berry Musicale
The Shoalhaven Proms, the feature event of the Berry Musicale, will be held on Saturday, August 9, at 7pm. This year the event has changed venue and will be held at the new Shoalhaven Entertainment Centre in Nowra. Tickets are available from Berry Music Centre or Berry Musicale’s website – www.berrymusicale.org.

Produce market
Kiama Produce Market will be on Saturday (June 28) from 8am to 1pm. It’s the perfect place to stock up on fresh fruit and veggies, take home curries and dumplings, honey, fudge, olive oils, nuts, jams, chutneys and fiery sauces, quiches cakes and slices, as well as home made skin care products.

Women networking
South Coast Business Women’s Network meets on Friday at 9.15am at Waves at the Beach Restaurant, Kiama. Speaker: Ruth Walker from Kiama Community College presenting a session on enhancing your business communication and reducing business costs using Skype. Rose Society
Illawarra Rose Society will meet on Saturday at North Kiama Neighbourhood Centre on Meehan Dr, Kiama Downs. The meeting starts at 1.30pm and a guest speaker from McCrackens in Bomaderry will talk about drip irrigation.

Winter fashion
KIAMA Uniting Church Women’s Fellowship will hold a winter fashion parade of garments by NEC Fashions, including items from size 8 to 24. The parade will be held in the Uniting Church Fellowship Centre on Saturday, June 28, at 2pm. A donation of $5 includes afternoon tea.

Garden Club
Kiama Garden Club meets tomorrow (Thursday) at Kiama Masonic Hall. The meeting starts at 1.30pm. Guest speakers Fred and Kathy Fraser will give a demonstration and talk on the iris.

VIEW Club
Kiama Evening VIEW Club has Tanya Hayes as its guest speaker for June. Ms Hayes is author of the inspirational biography Love Has No Limits. This moving story shows that with love anything is possible. Kiama Evening VIEW Club meets on the fourth Wednesday of the month at Kiama Leagues Club, at 6.30pm. All are welcome to attend. Penny at Jamberoo
Penny Hartgerink will be playing at Jamberoo Pub this Sunday (June 29) from 1pm-4pm.

Bush dance
Gerroa Community Association will hold a bush dance in Gerroa Neighbourhood Centre on Saturday, July 19, starting at 6.30pm. Cost is $10 a person, which includes a sausage sizzle and tea/coffee. BYO other drinks and nibbles if you wish. Tickets are available from Gerroa Post Office and numbers will be limited due to the size of the hall, so book early to avoid disappointment.

Landcare group
The Little Blowhole Landcare group meets at 3pm on the first Saturday of each month at the Little Blowhole, Tingira Crescent. The group is rehabilitating the flora and fauna of the valley to the west of the blowhole, including restoring native bush tucker plants. Co-ordinator Karen Watt said new members were always welcome.
