Third grade hooker Mark Bryant looking to build some forward momentum for his side. In a tight tussle the game was only decided in the final minutes thanks to a field goal from Kyle OBrien.

KIAMA Rugby Union completed the regular season with a clean sweep of arch-rivals Vikings under lights at home on Saturday Night.

Third Grade continued their stomp into the finals with a thrilling three nil victory, Second Grade dominated their opposition to the tune of 76-0 with winger Paul Glover bagging an incredible seven tries while first grade

continued the pillaging with a 78-22 thumping.

Competing in the final series thirds started the day well for Kiama managing a last ditch victory to keep alive their seasons hopes.

Kyle OBrien was the hero on the day with a field goal followed up by a try saving tackle in the corner in the last minute of the game. Despite the close score line Kiama could have wrapped up the game earlier but blew a lot of try scoring opportunities.

Second grade continued their winning ways by wrapping up second spot with a dismantling of Vikings. Spurred on by the seven try heroics of Paul Glover Kiama managed to dominate all facets of the game with Vikings never even looking like scoring.

In the tight Reece Genat and Nath Milthorpe once again illustrated their class with a bruising display while out wide it was a literal try fest with everyone jumping on the band wagon.

First Grade continued the dismay for the away team with another thumping with Chris Weir seemingly sowing up the Illawarra Try Scorer of the Year Award, Kiama managed to set the tone for the night early through the hard work of the forwards and in doing so opened up some huge gaping holes for the backline.

Kiama has the week off in firsts this week after securing the Minor Premiership however both second and third Grades will be playing in the Major Semi Final this Sunday at Shoalhaven Rugby Park.

Thirds will kick off at 12:00 with seconds straight after at 1:30. Make sure you travel down for a great days entertainment and

support the boys.
