How sweet it is says Warilla Sports opener Gavin McCauley as he celebrates his century in style against Jamberoo at Oakleigh Park on Saturday.
KIAMA Cavaliers first grade have ripped through a struggling Shellharbour side in round three of the South Coast District Cricket Association competition.
All out for 109, Shellharbour did however manage to keep the game in the balance to have the Cavs 4/49 at the close of play. Captain Matt Meurant remains at the crease with Nathan Barr and Josh Jones still to come, which should see the Cavs knock over the remaining runs to post another first innings win after their upset the previous week against Oak Flats.
After losing to Shellharbour in the final round last season all rounder Dale Scifleet, fresh from scoring his first century for South Coast said the team would have to lift to avoid a repeat performance.
With Matt and Nathan Barr still in we should be ok, he said.
Everyone was up for Oak Flats and now with Shellharbour I think the feeling before the game is that it was an easy win but you cant do that.

We just need to train harder, added Scifleet.
First change bowler Mick Norris earlier snared 4/33 and was backed up by Scifleet (3/31) who continues to be the standout performer for Kiama this year.
Meanwhile the dark horses and very much in form Warilla side have posted 318 against Jamberoo at Oakleigh Park thanks to a maiden century from new recruit Gavin McCauley.
McCauley scored 119, falling eventually to double centurion of the previous week Kurt Miller (3/58), while Albion Park opener Brett Baldwin scored 150 in aggressive fashion against The Rail at Croome Road helping Albion Park post 3/317, certain to post their first win of the season.
