I am pretty happy. We have played every team in the top four and have only had one loss and a washout.

We hadnt played on a good wicket until last weekend so the boys got to have a good hit for a good win over Warilla.

I think it is Oak Flats, Lake Illawarra and Albion Park who have the depth but Kiama, Warilla or Jamberoo have a few guys who on their day can win the comp.

There is Kurt Miller (Jamberoo), Nathan Docker and Craig Bramble (Warilla) who can do that and the comp is wide open. Matt Meurant and Dale Scifleet are match winners.

For us we have a big game coming up on Sunday against Lake to make it away to Tamworth in the SCG Cup. Getting beaten in the final last year we definitely want to make it away again and I think the team that wins will go a long way in the competition.

I am happy and we are coming second as far as I know and we are leading the one day comp thanks to some good batting.

Good scores over the last few weeks have been the difference and we can defend almost anything. Whitey (Brendan White), Sam (Constantinou) and David Crapp as well as myself are hitting the ball well.

Mark Ulcigrai is getting runs as well as wickets and Tony Panecasio has two six wicket hauls this season and is by far the best spinner in the comp.

Kiama have had a very good draw and the outright against Shellharbour helped them. We have played Oak Flats and Albion Park already in two day games so if you sort it all out we would be on top.

Oak Flats are the main danger and I noticed Troy Burns is back for Park so that will be a boost for them.

Kiama and Warilla too can beat anyone on their day but I think it will be us and Oak Flats leading the way.
