BRANCH TITLE UP FOR GRABS IN KIAMA

SURF lifesaving action returns to Kiama this weekend, as Kiama Surf Club host the 2007 Integral Energy South Coast Surf Lifesaving Championships.
Held at Surf Beach the action will decide just who the 2007 Branch Champions will be, with many personal and team duels set to take place.
Saturday will see seniors " from under 15s to the over 50s " take to the sand and water, as the surf boats hit the surf at Bombo.
Competition will see quality fields from all over the Warilla to Mollymook line up, with many competitors holding world championship, Australian, state and country medals.
Sunday will see the nippers take charge of the beach " with under 8s to under 14s " all having their chance at glory in the championships.
The junior lifesaver of the year will be announced, following a special tribute to the Surf Lifesaving movement, marking the 100 years of surf lifesaving in Australia.
Kiama Surf Lifesaving Club have been busily preparing for the event over the past two months so " whether it is beach sprints, flags, the ironperson, the boards or the many relay events " that interests you then the club want to see you there.
Full catering facilities will be available and the action starts from 8.30am both days.
