Section: Sport
The sequence of draws in first grade to date continued when the Warilla-Lake South Gorillas and Kiama Knights produced a 32 all draw at Cec Glenholmes Oval.
The scores were tied at 16 all at halftime, while the Knights pulled away in the second half and looked like winners when they led 32-20 late in the game and with Warillas Don Kane sent off and one player from each team in the sin-bin, the home side rallied well and finished the game the stronger to see the Knights held to their second consecutive 32 all draw.
Daniel Gunning continued his outstanding form for the Knighs to again bag a double, while winger Kurt Robertson made it five tries from three games with his second double, while Jeremy Alger and Scott Morris also played well.
Damien Paulissen, Kevin Bridal, Joel Murtin and Mark Walsh were the gorillas best.
